I don't know if you can tell from the pic but it's very coarse. It has like...indentions running down the hairs. It's never been dyed or straightened, not been curled or blow dried in 10+ years.

What's wrong and how do I fix it??

Is all your hair like that? Or just a few random ones? What's your ethnicity?

Probably half of it. I'm white as can be, both my parents are adopted but they're damn pasty too.

Ethnicity?
Straight or Curly?
How often do you wash it?
Hard or soft water?
Do you use conditioners?
How do you dry it and comb it?

Could be stripping from chems in your shampoo, or a keratin imbalance.

It's completely normal. They're just coarse pieces of hair.

Do you live in cold dry weather? Have you been ill recently? Do you eat a lot of protien or changed your intake recently?

All of those things could effect your hair.

1 mom liked this
White.
Wavy but mostly straight.
Every 3 days or so--gets dry otherwise.
Soft water.
I use a conditioner and a leave-in.
I let it air dry and comb it with a big comb, I only use a brush to gather it if I have to put it up (once a week).
