Sleep!!! My seven week old has bronchitis and the flu at the same time. I am so tired and he has slept a total of an hour since 6pm. Finally got him to stop crying by stripping him naked. Anyone have any suggestions to get my lil man to bed?

1 mom liked this
Run hot water in the bathroom close the door and sing to baby., steam will help open his airways and relax him. Poooor baby! And mom to! maybe try a baby massage also.

Give him some tylenol? He is probably in pain, also try using a cool mist humidifier so he can breathe better. Poor baby. I hope he feels better!

Try nursing him in your bed lying sideways. You'll both nod off!

If it is that bad and he isn't feeling better and not sleeping still, I would take him to the doctor first thing in the morning!

The best thing for sick babies if you can lay with them. It comforts them, you can keep a close eye on them, and your breathing helps their own.

Keep him elevated while he sleeps as well.

We did a bath and baby massage at 2 this afternoon when the cranky kicked in.

That's the only thing that helped when my newborn was sick. I'm sure it helped that she got tons of fluids, lol
