cheeseburger crotch?

It's basically when your crotch swells when you're pregnant either because of pressure from the baby, or vericose veins down there. I am 33 weeks pregnant, and my 'cheeseburger crotch' is absolutely the most excruciating pain aside from actual childbirth i have ever felt.  I had one son before this, and never even knew this condition existed. I called and talked to the nurse at my OB clinic and my mom who is also an RN, and they  both didn't seem too concerned about it. I have an appointment with my Dr. on Tuesday, So, i'll ask her about it then. Anyways, my main concern right now is the pain!! I can barely even walk. Has anyone of you had this awful condition while preggers? If so, is there anything you did to ease the pain?

I would *think* that a belly support band could help. But I'm not sure.

One thing I do know is, don't cross your legs, that'll cause more pressure.

I went and got one today, and am wearing it as we speak. I hope like crazy this thing helps!

Mine swelled too, I actually had a vein that went from my vagina down to my leg that was swollen also and had to be removed. Are the veins on your legs okay?

I hope you feel better soon!

They are ok, but did you have any pain when yours swelled?

That's good and not that I can remember. If the veins down there are what's causing the pain, I would really think you need to be checked out. Good luck!
