I work 15 hours a week (that is all I can work with my health) and I receive SSDI

What do you think about that?

That's fine. You do what you can to live a happy life.

My neighbor is slowly going blind (she's 21) and doesn't work and receives SSDI and buys hair extensions with it. *facepalm*

I say if you can supplement your ssdi (because lord knows it's not enough to live on) then do it.  If your health can handle it.

If you are allowed to work and still collect the ssi then what's the problem?

I think that you must have an issue that makes you unable to work more than fifteen hours a week and that you have a problem that is proven so you collect ssdi....

It's hard to say since I don't know the nature of your disability or diagnose and the type of employement you have.

Oh god she's so young. I hope those extensions are cheap because if those checks ever stop, she's screwed.
