1 Peter 3:9

New International Version (NIV)

Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.

Very good reminder! I would say.

Amen even in the Lord's Prayer we are to pray for those who wrong us. We are to also forgive 70 x 7.

That concept was actually developed long before Christianity.  The first millennium BC had writings related to what people today call karma, but at that time was called the "shramana" tradition in Buddhism.  Buddhists are atheists (the do not believe in a deity).

They believed that you should never be unkind.  You always say and do and wish for the positive, or your negative thoughts will come back on you.

So it's nice you are sharing the originally atheist concept of shramana that was adopted by Christians!

I get rid of horrible employees at work by wishing them well elsewhere, and I get a copy of their resume and I forward it to other companies. :)  Hope that counts!
