How much more pathetic can a Lady get? If you want something that bad, buy it yourself! Why let something as trivial as a stupid gift, make your feelings hurt? It reminds me of kids throwing tantrums when they don't get their way. Oh please! Stupidest thing I ever saw on Cafemom. Just stop!

Yeah I agree. I hate this stupid "holiday." It's never made sense to me why we dedicate one day to loving the people in our lives. We should show love and respect all the time, not just Feb. 14th.

We don't exchange anything on Valentine's Day. Valentine's Day is just not one of those important holidays for us.

I totally agree. Some lady said she'd actually cry. Really? Over one day? Her man must not be doing much the rest of the year.

I agree. While the thought that goes into getting one a gift on vday would be nice, it should not be expected. it is not a real "holiday" and no one is obligated to do anything for us! Now if dh gets me something, yes i will be thrilled. if he does not..umm oh well. We show/tell eachother that we love the other every day, so one day out of the year is no different.

*i have to disagree with one thing you said though....I can't say this is the stupidest thing I've ever seen on cafemom. unfortunately we have some real winners in the group lol
