How Did You Met That Special Someone In Your Life??
I met my SO in a odd way. I was going out with my date (SOs friend) first time to a party. Well my date was being a true ass and SO (then a stranger) saw what he was doing and that I was uncomfortable. Decided to step in and said come on Ill take you home. I went to get up to leave and ashole date didnt agree with that. Ashole date went to grab my arm and I knocked him back. SO started kicking his ass and ashole dates brother quickly picked me up and removed me from the house. SO came out a few mintues later and said Are you ok (looking me over), gave me a hug and said its ok. We ended up at his Grandmas (he takes care of her), and in the morning he took me home. Since then weve been together. Havent seen him in a few days, hopefully tonight. Hes been working like crazy.
He works hard, kind, patient, considerate, likes my kids, cleans, cooks, funny, cuddles, and more!
I met my dh at a wedding. I had a date and he ended up cancelling on me. So I went alone. That was in 1980. Wewere married in 1982.
I was living in norman, oklahoma. he was stationed at fort sill, oklahoma. I had a mutual friend that I was with, who was also stationed at fort sill, oklahoma but visited his mom in norman. I was with this friend when my (now dh) called him. The friend said "I'm busy, talk to (me)" and handed me the phone. He started bringing (now dh) into norman on the weekends, and we were dating. The rest is history.
That's pretty much it.

I was going to college and taking an art class and never noticed him. Then I started working at a niteclub and thought I recognized him from my class. That weekend he shaved his head so when I saw him in class I was like oh that wasn't him..he looked way diff with a shaved head. Then I go back to work a few days later and there he is shaved head and all. Ha. We were both in other relationships so I wasn't timid talking to him because I didn't want to date him. I introduced myself and said I'm hungry and you have fries can I have some? So he then on started sharing his food with me since we were broke college kids. We ended up both single but had become good friends so I went on and dated someone else and he went back home for christmas break and we lost touch. Then we saw each other in the hall at school after I left the guy I was with and we became friends again and I started talking to another guy and he was like stop I can't watch you date these guys when I'm falling in love with you. So I stopped talking to the other guy(we had gone on like 2 whole dates) and we've been together ever since. Married 6 years this past january.
Damn that makes me feel young. Ha I was born in 1982
