Can she lose her kid for this

My sister has a 2 year old who has only been to the dr 3 times. Twice for check ups, one because baby was sick. She is ready to vax now, so she is going to make an appointment but she is afraid they will try to take her kid away. She isn't sick and is in good health.

Edit
She is afraid they will take her away for not doing well child visits.

I don't think so, mothers have the choice to vaccinate or not.

Why would they take her kid away. The doctors keep these things called records...it's not like they don't already know she hasn't been vaccinated.

1 mom liked this
Half the time they don't take away kids being severely abused or neglected, they don't set out to take kids away if CPS gets involved they try to help the parent so they don't have to take the kids away.
They may have questions for her but hey wouldn't take the baby just because she hasn't vaccinated

Vaccines are usually recommended meaning a doctor can only "suggest" a person recieves it. Many parents choose not to vaccinate.. but as long as she isnt causing her children harm she should be fine.
