We just found out DH was awarded the bronze star due to his awesomeness during his last deployment. He was the only one in his unit who got one. Personally, I think it's fucking awesome and want to tell our friends, but I can't, because it's tacky. I'm bursting at the seems, so I'm posting it here anon, lol. DH will have 5 rows of awards on his dress uniform after he adds the ones from this deployment. Oh yes, my DH will look like one Hot badass!!!

What did he do? In my husbands last unit they gave away bronze stars to E-8 and above just because.

I think its AWESOME!!! And pls thank your DH for his service he ROCKS!!! And may I ask why you feel you can't brag about this? Is it on here or IRL?
