This. We are still waiting on one dh had for a summer job. They wouldnt return any of our calls untill yesterday. Turns out the lady said she hasent even met with her tax guy yet and hasent done them. Well we know they had untill jan 31st to get them out so when we get it we will be sending that in with the enevlope and postmark dated highlighted. They will be in trouble with the irs

Since when. If you make under $600 I thought you didn't have to file it.

I am glad it isn't just me. I thought the same thing, but am paying fines for a side job making $480 that my dh did. The interest and penelties are a few hundred by the time they notified me. So in reality that side job was not worth it!! ;o) I am sure some may never get caught or reported but I looked into and irs says any amount of income should be reported.
