Does anyone know how to delete messages off an iPhone forever? I am not just asking about the normal delete button. You can delete messages but if you go on your home screen and move it to the left to the search screen, you type in ME and it brings up every conversation you ever had. I need to erase those .. Any clues?

Ok so I researched this a little bit more today on erased messages. I forgot when my dds doctors appt. was this week. I had texted if to her, but of course I deleted and so did she. I put the search bar to use. I type in her name and certain texts came up but nothing about the appointment. So I typed in the doctors name and I found out from a message I deleted.
It's based on what certain words are names you type in also. So when I said me, of course it brings up deleted text that have Me in them. So it also goes by words, names, etc.
hopefully I can figure more out as I stumble upon these features. Lol

I did it. It only the messages I have on there now. No deleted ones at all.

Huh that's strange. I can't find EVERY text ever. It's only showing me the people I text the most. Weird. I can figure out how to delete them. Maybe call apple support?

I just checked and mine are there too but only to a certain point and u can't bring up the whole conversation. U can just see a part of it.....

says if you sync your phone, they delete. at least that's what i got out of it
