Mom Confessions Mom Confessions

So, I found out my Valentine's Day gift.

He's buying me a rose dipped in platinum and a rose trimmed in platinum!

So....if this means I'm "putting a price tag on our love", I'm good with it. ;-)

Did you mean to quote the op?

Quoting cutebaby06:

Oh I get it, you're one of those that unless it's expenisve, it's not worth it.

Just so everyone gets it. I don't think OP is bragging like she's rich. Most of us would drop the cash it takes for those at Victoria Secret. They are only like 100 bucks a piece. It's not like she's bragging about some extravagant gift.

At least I hope that isn't what she's attempting.

It's not my cup of tea but ok glad you like it.

I want a new tattoo.

Quoting KGreen75:

What does that have to to do with anything?

Quoting KGreen75:

They do look like something one would find in an Asian nail salon as decoration...but if OP likes them, that's all that matters.

Quoting MalakbelLacuna:

those are tacky and ugly.

they look so generic- like something you give to an old lady you have known for a long time. They done speak sentiment or love to me.

You mean....other than they're platinum?

O.o

LOL

Sometimes, I forget who I'm dealing with in here.....

Because this is the food stamp crowd.

*enter defensive "I'm not on food stamps and I still think they're ugly" cafemoms*  LOL

Neither am I.  I think yellow gold is down right ugly, lol.

So me and Finn have a no flower rule.  Growing up my father was a (very well known) florist in Philadelphia.  As was his father, grandfather, great grandfather etc.  So I got flowers for every damned thing.  Birthdays, Holidays, graduations etc.  I never got any presents {I know I know, poor me} except for the flowers.  I would not have cared if it wasn't so easy for them.  My parents never put thought into anything.

I really do like these though.  I think I would make an exception to the no flower rule.

Sweet! I never heard of it.  I like the second picture more.  The first one I would try to eat, lol.  It looks like there should be chocolate in the middle, lol.

We don't celebrate Valentine's day.  My birthday is the 25th though so I get presents anyway ;)  Me and Zoe are going into RIchmond Va to go to the Tiffanys store.  I have my eye on a cute bracelet.  This is Zoe's first time in the actual store, she is ecstatic.  She wants a matching bracelet and necklace.  She already has her outfit picked out and all.  Little stinker.

They have gold dipped ones, too....but I'm not a huge fan of yellow gold.

LOL @ Tiffany's.  Sounds you've got yourself a little diva!  ;-)
