Asking your husband for things

Do you have to ask your husband or SO to buy clothes and such? I could never imagine having to ask. I would feel like I was his child.

Yeah - usually it's because what He makes from work is A LOT more than what I do. Also, it's part of our dynamic. We've got a M/s relationship. I don't feel like a child - it's just mutual respect towards each other.

NO, I don't ask.  I buy what I want.  He would laugh at me if I ever asked if I could buy something.

No sure don't. But I'm not financially dependent on him either. If I were financially dependent on him, I'd probably ask.  I don't see myself just spending someone else's money when I please.

When I was a SAHM yes I had to ask for what I needed, but it wasn't exactly asking, I put whatever was needed for me the kids and the house on the list and it was purchased when we went to the store.
