If a very close relative was a sex offender would you let them see that person?

Like a brother, sister, dad, mom?

My brother is in prison and is in there for a sex offence. I am very close to my brother and it sucks he cant see my girls until they turn 18. Or he gets permission to see them

Nope, protecting my child comes first

The fact that he cant have contact with them as minors tells me it was a serious offense

No. They chose to be a sex offender and they knew that meant they didn't care about seeing their grand kids or nephews someday. Too bad for them but no.

Yeah no, I don't care how close I was to said relative. Especially if said relative is in jail for their crime. There's no way in hell my kids gonna be around them, ever.

I have a sibling who is a sexual offender. I have a restraining order against her, and my children will never have contact with her. My children come first.

It would depend on why they are a sex offender. I have a good friend who is one because of statutory rape. He was 19 she was 16. That's bs in my opinion.
