Posting pictures of her six year old nude on Facebook...!

Posted by   + Show Post
I am Facebook friend's with a girl I went to high school with. She has two kids, a six year old girl and a one year old boy. She always posts pictures of them on Facebook. Tonight she posted a picture of them lying on the couch watching TV. Her son in his diaper, her daughter in a pair of shorts, no top.

I find this really inappropriate. Does anyone else? Not the hanging out at home with no top on, the fact that her mom posts it on Facebook for everyone to see. She has done it multiple times.

If I was close friends with her I would tell her she probably shouldn't post pictures of her daughter half naked.

I would think of the 6 year old as sexless, but it is not just women looking at photos.  There are perverts out there and it is not a good idea to post photos of children let alone of children partially nude.  i would not do that past babyhood.

I don't care what others do but I don't post any pictures of my kids online, without being fully clothed. I just don't think anyone needs to see my kids that way, new born, toddler or any age.

Nothing wrong with them, I have plenty of cute nudie pics of my son but they don't go up on a public Facebook page. There are also some rather embarrassing nude photos of me as a young kid. Let's jut say I didn't like clothing. Thankfully they aren't on a social media website.

My dd runs around in just underwear as often as possible, she's 6. We chose what goes up very carefully, she's got a lot of pics where she and her baby brother are just hanging out on the couch and she's not got much on, we keep those to ourselves.

My mom took a pic of me when I was about 4, I passed out sitting at the table in my underwear. You can't see anything, and I think it's a cute photo, but I don't post it for all and sundry. ;)

Exactly. Plus, her page is public. Who knows who can see that.

This.

Nudity isn't a big deal to me or my family. We all walk around the house and sleep nude.

It's only a big deal if you make it one.

Quoting Retrokitty:

No I don't think nudity should be seen as a big deal. In a lot of places its now legal for woman to be topless.

I think the reason that people are so afraid of preditors is that nudity is so taboo. Even breast feeding is looked down upon after a certain age. If you don't make it sexual its not.

Okay...but do you post pictures of it on a public social media website?
That's the part that gets me.

Shes six...she doesnt have boobs. I post photos of my sons in their diapers / waist up in the bath tg however my fb is locked up. Should hers be? Yes but whatever...its not illegal unless the child is in a sexual pose / the photo is a sexual nature. Relax...report it..move on
