So another post got me thinking.

Are there people who are absolutely against PA for any reason? Or are most people just frustrated with the way the system works.

I am not against PA, I have had to use it but I try to get off of it within 6 months of having to sign up.

I have no problem helping people stay afloat temporarily until they can get on their feet. My problem is with people who choose not to work and make it a lifestyle

It's fine if you temporarily need the help. It shouldn't be abused or be a way of life.

I'm definitely not against it. I do hate that people abuse it though. As in the people who sit at home and think the government is supposed to cater to them when they are perfectly healthy and capable of doing something about their situation.

Welfare has gone the way of ACORN, started out with good intentions but ended up being completely corrupt and too far gone to rehabilitate.

not done away with, but it needs to be monitored more closely.

No I'm not against it. Things happen. Businesses close, people end up on.hard times. I'm thankful I had fs when I needed them.
