I think it's cool. I didn't learn about it until it was too late to try only own kids, but the practice is very interesting.

All of my kids have been potty trained by two. I have no reason to potty train them before hand.  =)

I think the PARENT is the one trained, not the baby. Babies are unable to be potty trained on their own during infancy. Holding your baby over the potty every couple hours does not mean your baby is trained.

 i actually know a lady that had both her girls potty trained by age 1.  She said she started them at 4 months old, and it was a process that she would sit them up in a potty until they went and then she praised them.  Then when they were about 10-11 months and started walking, they would walk to the potty when they had to go.  I didn't believe it until I saw it with my own eyes.  Both her daughters out of diapers by age 1.  Crazy shit!

My SIL  was going to the bathroom since she was 4months old.

 I have a friend that started her baby at 6 weeks. He is now about 10 months and most of his life has gotten most of his #2's and a lot of his #1's in the potty. I think it's great if you want to do that, but I will not.
