What is this?

My 3 year old ds has had this in his hair on his scalp since he was an infant, today we were cuddling and I was playing with his hair and noticed that it is still there all over the top of his scalp, it is yellow crusty looking things, think of a mucous scab, they also don't just rub off you actually have to scratch at them.

Some of them were coming off with a ball of hair still attached, is this possibly a skin condition?

I plan to call tomorrow to make him an appointment and get it looked at then, but opinions would be wonderful.

** idk what kinds of dicks you ladies have been seeing, but tell your man to shave ;)

Cradle cap in toddlers and children is just referred to as dandruff. Try switching shampoos or using a tiny bit of medicated shampoo like selson blue.

Yeah, i would get some baby oil and a baby brush or get teh cradle cap shampoo and brush it into the scalp and then wash it out with regular shampoo and see if it helps
