Fioricet and Pregnant?

Anyone take it while pregnant? It's a class C drug, so it makes me a little nervous.

I've had a migraine since Saturday around 12 pm..it's now 10 AM Monday.. I'm getting desperate!

I have no clue, but your dr. should have talked to you about what meds you were taking, and let you know what is safe or not.

Yes. I've tried increasing my water, taking Tylenol, drinkinf caffeine, resting, massage... Nothing is working

There are not sufficient studies to stay if it's harmful or not. I am thinking if I don't take a lot of them I should be fine

I took it when I wasn't pregnant.  Go to the ER.  Ask them to hook you up to an IV and infuse the migraine cocktail.  It is benedryl, toredol, acetaminiophen and an antiemetic.  All are safe for pregnant women.  The ER I go to has 95% luck with this "cocktail".  I take it at home if I am not vomiting.  It is 800 mg ibuprofen (for the toredol), 1000mg acetaminophen, 50mg benedryl and 4mg antiemetic.  The anti-emetic I used is zofran.  It is prescription only but some people have used dramamine OTC in a pinch.  Then you have to go to bed.  When you wake up you should feel better.  It doesn't cause rebound headaches either.

That's what I took when pregnant with DD. Tylenol did not work. Good luck.

Well I took them almost daily from my 5th month on and DD was born fine and healthy
