Do your kids get dessert most nights? What's a normal dessert in your house?

We give our kids "dessert" most nights, and 98% of the time it's fruit. Apples, Oranges, Pineapple, Grapefruit, Berries...

I love that they think fruit is dessert and don't expect cookies or ice cream :)

No.  Last night they had applesauce with some apple pie spice.  Tonight they had second bowls of chili, and second helpings are much more common than dessert....During the blizzard I made some rice krispie treats and a pan of brownies, but that was a special treat.

No. It's rare.

Pudding or jell-o.

I never fix a dessert.

My MIL does every Sunday... we go over there after church to eat lunch....she always has dessert.

My kids just don't need the extra sugar that late, lol

They get a cookie (A COOKIE) if they eat a sufficient amount of dinner.

Yep- a cookie or small bowl of ice cream. But only of they have finished a serving of fruits and veggies and what we consider to be enough of their dinner. They can't say I'm not hungry during dinner and then expect dessert
