when you see a child (on a chart) that weights 14 lbs and about 2ft tall.

Oh this child is 18 months old.

First question would be?

At 18 months:

your child is 14 pounds, and that is 
at less than the 3rd percentile for weight.

your child is 24 inches, and that is 
at less than the 3rd percentile for height.

very small for their age . even my 4lb13 oz baby at birth was more than that by 8-9 months

My son was that way, i wouldn't think too much. His twin was always MUCH bigger.

That it's a small kiddo.
Dd is 10 months, she's 27 inches long and weighs 16lbs. .. She's always been small...doctor wants her to hit 20 lbs by her one year check up.,,,, so that kiddo must be tiny .... Id just wo de if he was always small and if his parents were smaller people

Yeah at our last apt 6 mth check up my lo was 18lbs 4oz and 27 1/2 inches. He was 6lbs 4oz and 18inches at birth. I would be worried.
