how do teachers feel about teen moms

I'm about to have my first. I am wondering how your teachers treated you. I'm afraid they'll treat me different because I'm a mom. What should I do? A lot of my teachers are single or don't have kids so it must be hard to see someone young with a boyfriend and a baby

I have no idea. One teacher seemed to not like me, but she was always like that with everyone I guess.

My teachers didn't treat me different

Be prepared to be treated like an idiot

I wasn't a teen mom, but had some friends who were. The only time they were treated different was if they used it as an excuse, like excessively.

9 moms liked this

honestly?  Most teachers are against teen pregnancy(as everyone should be).  I am a teacher and this is what I have heard:  she wasted her life, it is ruined .  Don't worry about young teachers without kids being envious of you. Chances are, they will wait to have them when they are ready.  They will have some money to support their children . Also, not everyone "needs" a man.   Most likely they will pity you

I doubt they find it "hard" to see a pregnant teen lol

I am sure you will be looked down upon, why wouldn't you?

I do not think they will be jealous of you.
