I find it strange that people think women should only be home the shortest amount of time possible and working.
Some of us like being housewives, but if you are not caring for a baby or toddler we are told to get in the work force. Makes one feel like they are a bit worthless.
(no, the latest poster asking questions in her own post didn't make me feel like this, but the responses to her post sure did)
It would bore me to tears
You never know what could happen.
Quoting peanutsmommy1:
Whatever floats your boat
It would bore me to tears
Doing whatever you wanted all day would bore you to tears?
Being a housewife doesn't mean you have to stay in the house all day.
i loved being home with my babies and toddlers - but once they were in school i had to get out and get real - i like nice things to much to live poor cause i don't carry my financial weight
All three of mine are in school and I'm still a SAHM. Days like today and yesterday (when the kids are sick and need to stay home) I'm grateful I don't have a job I have to constantly call out from.
"Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification" Romans 14:19

Im a housewife and I never intend to return to the workforce. My son started a full day of school this year. It works for us. I could care less what anyone else thinks.
