actually, our relationship is better for it. if he wanted a woman who acted like a man, hed marry a man. i keep it mysterious and lady like. he dosnt know when i fart, burp, and has no idea when i take a shit.

It was the way I was raised. I can't remember my father ever belching or farting in front of me. I don't do either around my SO if I can help it.

If you're on your own home, I say let it rip. it doesn't matter if your spouse is around or not. I'm not gonna suffer gas pains because he doesn't like the fact that I have the same bodily functions as he does. He'll get over it once the smell dissipates!! Hahahahaha

I honestly am self conscious about it. It happens but I try not to. We are a very happy family. I was smacked and hit if I farted in front of people as a kid so it is learned behavior for me.  My family is happy and I don't hit my kids for it, I do tell them to say excuse me or sometime go to the bathroom if they let out more than one. But just because one can fart in front of family doesn't mean it is a happy family and vice versa.
