I relized this lately. I am just a Mother and Wife. Part of me feels guilty for not being satisfied with just this. But, now that my son will be 2 years old. I think I am ready to go to school to be an RN. My husband and I were going to TTC when he got home from his 2 year tour. But I think it's best to wait. It will give my husband time to relearn being a Father, and me time to become an RN. I hope I get accepted into the program. I only have a GED. I hope my husband is on board with this whole idea. If you read this, thanks. I know it isn't all that interesting compared to the other posts on here. Lol

Good luck momma. There is nothing wrong with your plan. I hope your husband is on board with it. Good nurses are so needed.

You do have an identity, you also have different roles. Don't let your thoughts take away from how important raising a child is. Good luck with whatever you decide!

Fathers can raise children, too.  Why do so many women forget this?

I felt this way for awhile. Then one day, it just went  away. I am happy to be a mom and wife and i have never been happier.

It's not enough for everyone though so good for you for realizing that and taking steps to get yourself back!
