I have been married for 9 yrs in june. I bitched the first 5 yrs, but now I have him whipped into shape, (insert evil laugh) no seriously, he is a great gift giver now, and i attribute it to my years of sticking up for myself and complaining.
Ps. First marriage, only man I've ever slept with, and my only serious relationship. :-)
