I grew up there. I would never live there again by choice, never. I grew up in a horrible area around Jasper. I left as soon as I got out of high school and I have never been back. The area I grew up in is extremely racist, homophobic, inbred, and just over all a nasty piece of the country. The education system was so bad, I didn't realize how uneducated I actually was until I moved away. I have nothing nice or positive to say about where I grew up in Texas.

I've been here since 2006 and I hate it. Df was active duty army and when he got out the economy sucked so we couldn't move. We are moving next year back to Wisconsin.
