Gave or sent you a dozen YELLOW roses for Valentines Day how would you feel?
I have a friend that is going through some problems with her DH ( she thinks he might be cheating he swears he is not) he gave her a dozen yellow roses for Valentines Day, she was very upset and feels it is just another mind game he is playing, I said maybe he didn't know the meaning of Yellow Roses and that is what he said but she thinks he did. How would you feel and what would you think?
For those that don't know Yellow Roses signifies Friendship.

I'd just be mad he wasted all that money on flowers that are going to die. I like to have something to show for my money.... If dh were to buy me roses on a whim I wouldn't put all that thought into it. Women over think things and men under think them....

Yes I'm sure there's more meaning to each, I just pulled this one because someone was asking what they meant and this was close to what I remember. I'm going to edit the yellow for jealousy, thank you for pointing that out!

I'll bet he doesn't know, I'll bet MOST people don't know. He probably got yellow because 1) she likes yellow, 2) he likes yellow, 3) they were out of red, 4) the yellow ones looked the freshest
I wouldn't care too much- my hubby will usually buy me red roses but to tell you the truth I prefer pink or white more than red, red seem to die really quickly on me although I like red every so often and I am just so happy that he buys me flowers anyways. My mother loves yellow roses and prefers them above any other so my dad when he gets her flowers will get her yellow roses because she likes them. I don't think he really meant anything by getting her yellow roses he was probably just trying to be sweet.
I doubt he knew. I think she's being overly sensitive because of her suspicions.
Lol, sorry that went right over my head! I always looked at it as just a silly fun thing but she is going through a tough time right now and is very sensitive and emotional.

I would have to say, if I was putting as much time and energy as she is into trying to guess my dh's meaning by the color of roses he gave me, instead of just enjoying them for the sake of beauty and love, then I have much bigger problems in my marriage and we need to be address them.
