Most misquoted verse ever.

It's "should" not "shall"

Shall implies that its guaranteed. Its not, you have to work at it.

John 3:16

New International Version (NIV)

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

From biblegateway.

It depends on which Translation of the bible you use.

There are different bible translations that would word this differently. Take a look at biblegateway.

We are having our Senior Service today and the theme is Jesus Loved you first. I cannot wait to hear Pastors sermon on that! I am helping out down in the kitchen for lunch after,  but still will be able to hear it. She did a wonderful job last night with Ash Wed service.
