I cant stand sharing a couch with ds

The constant moving around, kicking me, bouncing couch and having to say "SIT STILL"

I cant take it.  Ive resorted to making him sit on a different couch and have been entertaining the thought of not allowing him to sit on the couches at all if he cant sit still.

Its funiture not a playground wtf kid?

*we dont sit on the couch all day, not sure why people are making that assumption.  But we do use our couches, jeez.*

Does he have a different way of letting out his energy?

1 mom liked this

"Shrug" he's a boy...but I agree the couch isn't a playground.  Someone suggested one of those big exercise balls for ds to sit on.  He can bounce to his heart's content.

not at the moment, we went through a rough financial patch and I missed the registration for all the winter sports in our city.

We go for walks daily weather permitting and come spring we will be more active outdoors and I have signed him up for king fu lessons.

I have the same problem with my son, he is constantly bouncing. It annoyes the hell out of me. I like the idea of an exercise ball. I think I will get one next time I go to the store.
