My son is 3&1/2 years old, he has been complaining about being tired ALL the time for the past few weeks! I know he's not faking it because he really does fall asleep! Tonight we went out to dinner & he didn't even eat, he fell asleep sitting up at 6:45!!!

he goes to bed between 7:30/8:00

wakes up between 7:00:8:00

im a SAHM, so we spend our days playing inside/outside, play dates, some days we go shopping...never anything to crazy!!!

he eats very well, doesn't nap during the day...

not sure what's going on, but I've worked in preschool for 7 years, and know this isn't very common!

any advice, stories, ect would be helpful :)

Maybe a growth spurt... They say some kids get very fatigued during growth spurts.

Maybe you should start giving him a short nap in the middle of the day. I do with my 3 year old

GROWTH SPURT.  Seriously.   It is.

If he complains a month from now, take him to DR stat.

My DD1 is also 3.5 and has been telling me she's tired a lot lately. No clue :/ For her, I think it's an excuse to get out of helping me clean her room.

I would try a nap.   But no, that does not sound normal at all.  If a nap doesn't help I would take him to get blood work done.
