He has to work midnight shift and just left. I want to cry everytime he leaves. It's making him miserable and makes me so sad to see him like that. I really wish we can find something else. :(

Is he actively trying to find something else?

He is. But he's looking for something that pays the same or more otherwise you won't make the bills. I just need to suck it up but I'm a mess about it.

It could be worst, he could have no job. You will both get through it, it isn't the end of the world.

What is it that you hate so much about it? Is it being alone at night?

We worked opposite shifts the first 3 years we were married.  It sucked, but it was what we had to do.  Hopefully he will find something else soon :)

My husband just got through working nights for 3 weeks. We both hated it but he had to train someone to to take the nighttime position.
