Was reading another post and got a little cranky. SO looked over my shoulder and took an opposing view.
I thought, cool, we can have a discussion about something more significant than what to watch. Silly me. It seems as though any time I have an opposing view he gets a headache or he is "not going to fight" with me.
So I complained a bit and ended with, "You know, you'd be surprised by how intelligent I actually am"!
He said, "Not really".
My (teen) kids heard his response and were appalled.
He then began to backtrack and claimed we all misunderstood him and he really meant I was intelligent. But- had this been said to you would you be a bit insulted?
Especially considering your partner refused to discuss anything remotely controversial with you?
Claimed your differing opinions gave him a headache?
Stated he was going to cut off your access to CM (and other social topic forums) because they caused you to be argumentative?
Going to bed- sorry. Tired after this evening. Will respond more in about 5 hours.
