My pelgrant check just came! :D $1,889.50! I can FINALLY get a car. I'm so happy :) DH works full time and I work part time and I'm going to school so getting around with 1 car has been pretty darn difficult.(And before anybody says we're poor and just relying on the government I'll throw this out there. We are not on any P.A., but we are a bit short of cash right now because we just bought another house a couple months ago.)
Since I want there to be a point to this post and not just celebrating :P I'll ask you chickitas a question. Do you have a degree? If so, what is it in?
If you don't have a degree, would you like one? What degree would you like to have?
Christ on a cracker people, the title was on PURPOSE. I know the statement isn't true. I know "Got" should be "have" it was on PURPOSE. And I usually don't get this much back. After paying for my books and everything I usually only get a couple hundred back (And yes, the pell grant is for funding transportation as well by the way. It is for all things school related. So, if you used the check to pay the baby sitter while you went to school, that would be valid.) BUT this semester I took classes that allowed you to use last year's books. So, I was able to get really cheap used books and that's why I am getting so much back..
Okay, seriously ladies. If after all that you couldn't tell my title was a joke, you need to work on your comprehension skills. Not only does the first comment of this post tell you that I'm changing the title for dramatic effect, but I flat out TOLD you the title wasn't serious. Yet, someone still took it seriously -_-.
I see that I'm going to need a more dramatic title -_- tsk tsk ladies.
I have a Bachelors Degree in Justice Studies.
I have a health sciences degree. I'm a massage therapist.
That sounds cool, have you been able to put it to use? I'm about to get my Associates in Business. Then I want my Bachelors in Marketing and my real estate liscence.
Quoting owl0210:I have a Bachelors Degree in Justice Studies.
