If you go to the hospital with contractions and the doctors say they are going to stop them can you tell them no?

I'm not sure. But I know first hand that if they want to stop them it's because you're not far enough along to have a healthy baby. Why would anyone want to say no?

It is policy at my hospital to do everything they can to stop them up to 36 weeks, unless there is another underlying condition

My oldest ds was born at 36 weeks and they didn't stop them. My youngest was born at 31 weeks and they tried like hell to stop them, but couldn't.
