I am tired of feeling useless and alone. I want a divorce, at the very least I want a night alone but jes telling me I'll have to call the cops first. I'm so frustrated. Just a vent.

have you tried talking to him about why you want a divorce and see if you can fix things or work something out? he might not understand why you want out.

Can't force him to leave if he pays the bills. If you're the only person with the name on the house or apartment title and the only one who works to keep that electricity on then boot him... If not then get the law involved.

We have talked about it a thousand times. His words "I'm refusing to give up just because you want to give up and you want out. If you want me to leave, call the cops"

I tried to boot him. I don't want to involve the cops, but I think I will have too.

Yup however if you own a house together or you have a lease in your name it will take a court order to get him out Good luck.
