Your answer to this question can save my husband's life!

Posted by   + Show Post
I have a life or death question, if it does not get settled I may have to kill my husband.

Is the saying:

Time endures but can not fade all the memories love has made...

OR

Time endears but can not fade all the memories love has made...

The reason it even came up is a framed embroidery with that saying crossed stitched into it that is basically a family heirloom.

Yes if I'm to concede both exist your and/but is much more logistical. If that's the official right answer the crossed stitching is still wrong but I was wrong about what part is wrong.

Quoting Val99:

 I have seen the quote two ways - endure/but or endear/and :

Time ENDURES BUT can not fade all the memories love has made...

Time ENDEARS AND can not fade all the memories love has made...

I have never heard the saying, but I agree with this...

Quoting Anonymous:

Endures. Endears doesn't contextually fit.

It is the one with "endures"...google  is your friend.

You know, if you'd never started doing bjs, you wouldn't ever have to do them, if you dislike them that much.
