I thawed chicken out in the microwave on Thursday.. But didn't end up using it. It's been in the fridge since then... So 2 and a half days.

Is it safe to use today.. Or do you think I have to throw it away?

Update:

Damn. :(

Now I have to go to 2 stores today. lol

Toss it. If you thaw something using heat I.e. microwave, hot water, etc. you have to use it at that time. It's not safe to wait.

Once you microwave thaw something, it needs to be used immediately. I learned this lesson the HARD way when I first lived in my own.

No way! Poultry really shouldn't be thawed in a microwave. It should be done either in the fridge or in cool water in the sink.

I'd say if you thawed it in the fridge it would've been fine.  Thawing in the microwave is a totally different story.  The heat can create bacteria growth and then it's been sitting for two days.  You have to be careful with poultry.
