Help me find a dress?

I'm going to a charity ball in a couple weeks and I am desperate to find a dress. I want to spend under $150 and I just cannot find anything. My budget is flexible, the theme of the ball is old Hollywood glamour and I'm a size 16-18. I look best in darker colors and empire waist dresses. Anyone like to shop and want to help me out here?
