I am just wary about giving my cc info online. anyone know if it a bad idea or not?
I am Amazon's worst nightmare (or best customer) depending on how you look at it. I literally order everything from there. I have Prime, so diapers are 20% off.
I use both of them very frequently. Like when I say frequently, I mean at least once a week. Your information is safe with both companies.
Quoting JadsW:I buy shit on Amazon all the time. We're Prime members. Never had a problem.
I am forever on amazon and groupon and living social.
We shop on Amazon all the time, and we've done our fair share of Groupons too. Never had an issue!
If you have a Bank of America credit card (not debit, credit), sign in to online banking and look for the "Shop Safe" option for your credit card--it gives you a "dummy" number to use temporarily. You can set the specific limit for that number, so it only works for your one purchase.
Otherwise...online shopping is fairly safe as long as you stay away from questionable sites. Amazon and Groupon are big ones, and very well-established. Amazon even has great customer service. Our copy of Iron Man didn't work when we tried to play it a few weeks after Christmas, and they replaced it no questions asked. The first replacement never arrived in the mail, and they sent a second one (again, no questions asked). Love Amazon!
I buy groupon and amazon all the time literally..never once had a problem..if your wary set up a Paypal it's safe and secure and all of the. Accept it as a form of payment
ALL the time.
I LOVE Zulily too.
