Question..how do I keep the color that come off of it from staining my sheets and clothes? :/
Did it come out good? I was thinking of doing something like that. A friend of mine got a tree on his arm and then his daughter's initials and DOB was done to look like it's carved into the trunk of the tree and I thought it looked really good and was a clever idea.

Yep. :) Dh and I used to say "I love you times infinity" to each other all the time. He got an infinity symbol too. It's a peacock feather. The color in the pic doesn't look as good as it does in person.
Put gauze on it at night, shouldn't bleed colors for more then a day or two. Make sure you keep it wet so it doesn't scab too bad or heal rough!

It doesn't have any meaning. I just wanted something to make it pretty and I like peacock feathers. lol
