How to get out blood stains?

My son had a fall today and his shirt, my shirt and some towels are covered in blood. How can i wash it out?

Lol blood would be the least of my worries. My post would read "how do i dispose of a 200 lb body"

 Spit on the blood stain. Enzymes in saliva breaks down the blood proteins and it washes right out.

 Cold water & soap to get as much out as you can. If there are any stains remaining, I've had good luck with lemon juice and sunlight. Have only tried that on whites tho, so not sure how that would work with colors. Maybe test in a small area first.

soak in a strong oxi-clean solution..   Gosh I love that stuff... oxi-clean.   I buy a generic version of it by the bucket!  use it for a lot of cleaning.  

It really works.
