How to get out blood stains?

My son had a fall today and his shirt, my shirt and some towels are covered in blood. How can i wash it out?

Soak them in peroxide. Then wash them as usual. That's always worked for me.

 I think I might have read it in Women's World magazine maybe. I don't really remember. I can't remember what I had for breakfast this morning but I can retain useless bits of information like nobody's business.....lol.....it works though i've done it.

Soak in ice cold water. Any other accidents involving blood, you're better off soaking them fresh in ice cold water, then wash with bleach. Do NOT bleach dried stains unless you want nice yellow or orange stains afterwards!
