I know most of us on here have given birth one way or another. But have you ever been in the room when someone else gave birth?

When I was 18 in hs I was in the room with my best friend. I was terrified. But you get so caught up in the moment its really not that bad. It was so exciting.

And will for a third this spring
I am a birth junkie!!! Love it!
I would love to be a doula, but with five young kids right now I just don't want to take that time away from my family.

Isn't it amazing?? I remember looking at my friends sons head and thinking "Omg there is no way that thing is ever going to come out" lol.

Yes I have been in the delivery room for 8 births. One was a c-section. 3 of these were my youngest sister's kids, 4 were my oldest dd's, and one was my ds's. I still have kids who haven't had kids or who aren't done yet, so I expect to be in there for more. :)

Yes I happened to be in the hospital and heard my lab tech was in labor. She invited me to stay and watch the birth. Though I didn't know her well, it was an honor to be there when her baby was born. I'm with the PP. I love all things relating to babies and childbirth. It's fascinating to me. That's the only vaginal birth I've witnessed as it seems everyone I know had c-sections.
