Does this exist???

Ok so all I wanted is crushed tomatoes that come in a glass jar just like marinara or spaghetti sauce does. I dont get why this doesn't seem to exist?? Canned tomatoes are supposed to be one of the worst foods to buy because the acidity of the tomatoes eats away at the metal can which contains BPA and this can most certainly cause cancer. I am more than willing to pay more for jarred tomatoes vs canned tomatoes. Does this exist???

I used to buy alot of crushed tomatoes but have stopped until I can find it in a glass jar.

i've never found them. You can always start jarring your own. They sell everything you need at walmart and other stores. My mom before she had dementia would make all of her own freezer jams (omg they were to DIE for I loved the strawberry and rhubarb jams) she just bought a lot of mason jars and then did everything herself. you can google the process as well. i've never tried it but was thinking about doing it

Try your local framers market, but its really not hard to make your own.

Have a little garden and grow your own. You can put them in glass jars that way.

I've actually never seen them sold in glass jars, just cans.

Whole Foods maybe?

Or maybe you can order them online.

if you are so worried about BPA then you really need to be worried about the quality of the crushed tomatoes you buy. Never buy any prepared tomato product except whole tomatoes unless you are ok with eating worms. The manufacturers use the less pretty (meaning wormy, holey, bruised, rotten) tomatoes to make diced, crushed and tomato purees and paste. They save the nice tomatoes for the prepared whole tomatoes because you see the product in it's entirety

A company named Eden makes them that way.  Try contacting them.

You can buy them in a box instead of cans just not glass.  Pomi-BPA Free crushed tomatoes.

You can buy them on line in glass though. www.edenfoods.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=104870

Bio Naturae also offers them in glass.
