So my husband got some girl pregnant when he was all of 12 years old. The girl was also 12 after the baby was born the girls mom made the best decision and moved said baby and daughter far away. Hubby was doing very illegal things (at freaking 12) poor parenting if ya ask me.. Fast forward over 9 years SO has had no contact with bm or said child. We have a son together who is one and he is an amazing father to. Sil finds little girl on fb and bm has since remarried little last name has been changed. Hubby does not want to pursue little girl and rip her from all shes known. His family wants contact even though they havent seen or heard from her since she was one

I would follow whatever my husband wanted to do. If he is not ready to make Contact, it wouldn't be good to force it.

I would be supportive, though.

I'd go with what the husband is comfortable with.

Support your husband. At most HE could contact the BM and see what, but under no circumstance should anyone else have any contact.

That is your husbands call, and only his.

A good wife would probably respect her husbands wishes in this case. IMO

I would give my opinion but ultimately support DH's wishes

I would support dh in his decision.  he has very valid reasons as to why he feels he should stay away.

They were very young-and sounds like he has grown up a lot and just wants the best for the girl and go with dh wishes
