why do we have to do everything with sd?

Since Valentine's day was during the week both dh and I had to work. We had decided to celebrate Saturday instead. Yesterday we didn't because I had been up since 3am with ds. I was exhausted. So today we decided to celebrate. Except dh invited sd 19. So our Valentine's celebration also turned into a family outing. Because sd is going, ds will also be going.

Is it wrong to ask that she stay home?

Is she going to watch DS while y'all are gone?

Yeah he wants his daughter to go too. Was your son going too? Or were you planning to make SD watch your son?

We had originally asked her to sit while we went. Now because she's going, he is going as well.

IF both kids stay at home then I would think it was okay since you will be celebrating V-Day with DH.BUT don't take DS and not take SD

As long as you get some alone time with him afterwards I would be okay... maybe you two can catch a movie after dropping her and ds off.

It's not wrong to ask that she stay home if your son is staying home too.. If he's going, why can't she go.. since its a family outing already ANYWAY..

I love family time. We rarely have adult time. Not once since we adopted ds 2 years ago.

Your wrong. She doesn't have to baby sit so you can get it in.
