I Really Need Some Motivation To SAVE!!

Currently I have $475 saved up.

It's what is left from my tax return after I paid some bills and bought a few fun things.

Normally I cannot afford to save AT ALL. I have a special needs child, I am a single mom and we just cannot afford to save anything.

So I really need some motivation to hold onto this money. I know it's not a lot. But it's better than 0.

I do not need anything right now that I can't afford to get. Anything I need I can just buy with my money, not the money I have saved.

No, it's on a prepaid debit card I got my tax return on. It costs money to go to the ATM and withdraw it so I just want to leave it on the card.

Easy hide the card or lock it up. Make it hard to access.

personally I would feel paranoid about leaving it on the card....What if it gets lost, stolen, damaged....I would get it off the card and put it into the bank and "forget" its there.

I would know immediately since my other cards are with it. Cards I use on a regular basis lol.

Is there someone that could hold the card for you (that doesn't know the pin number) and woudl refuse to give it to you unless there was a real emergency?? And NO shopping in NOT an emergency, lol

You need to have discipline & not use it.  A rainy day will come & then your tough times will be taken care of with that money!  Keep in mind that by not using it, you will be making your life easier later in the year.

You can do it momma!
