Yeah not sure it rolls together with our car insurance payment so all together it's 170 but I think it's 25-30 a month.

I did and somehow it got canceled so when the diamond fell out of my wedding to g it was no longer covered. There goes money I don't have!

I don't remember how much we paid but I wouldn't have rented without it.

Yes I do and premiums vary due to liability limits, amount of personal property you're insuring, deductibles, location, etc. I think I pay 150/year.

Our renters insurance is 35 bucks a month.

 When we rented (we haven't rented since 1993) we did and I don't remember what we paid for it but it wasn't too expensive. We now own our own home and have home owners insurance.

We have Homeowners now but we let our Renters Insurance lapse at times, not smart. I think we paid $17 a month through Progressive until they jumped it to $45. I told them to shove it.

Yup. I costs us roughly $28 a month. Not too bad.  It is just plain stupid not to have it, especially in a multi family unit.  I don't want to lose everything because the neglectful parents downstairs let their six year old play with matches.
