It means that he was a huge part of your life, you had children together and hopefully you can maintain a good relationship with him.

I pawned mine as soon as the papers were filed. We were separated for quite some time, and I didn't want to toss it if we were gonna work on the marriage. Turns out we didn't and I'm grateful we didn't because I wouldn't have an amazing husband now.

No. I still have my old one. I guess I don't know the best place to sell it?

I still have my wedding and engagement ring from my first marriage and I was over the marriage before I kicked him out. But I also have plans for it. My dds birthstone is diamond and for her 16 th birthday I am having both melted down into a nugget pendant with the diamond in the center.

Nah. I haven't sold my old one, because I don't like idea of someone possibly getting a 'jinxed' ring. Plus, it is pretty, and I like to look at it when I get in the safe.
